The HCPC is the only organization in existence that advocates
greater use of unit dose and compliance packaging formats for the U.S. market.
We monitor activities within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
(CPSC) that could impact the unit dose packaging industry and
respond appropriately to ensure industry views are known.
HCPC members include top companies involved in the manufacture
of the components of compliance-style unit dose blister
packaging, as well as the machinery manufacturers, contract packaging
operations, and suppliers.
Recent HCPC legislative outreach efforts have helped ensure
that key Congressional decision makers are aware of the role unit
dose packaging can play in lowering healthcare costs, tightening
the pharmaceutical distribution chain, better ensuring drug efficacy,
discouraging counterfeits, tampering and diversion
The HCPC organizes educational events annually including the
National Symposium on Patient Compliance and the Full Membership
